About Me:

I love the ocean, nature and time spent with people I adore. 

 I love the moments of quiet as the sun rises in the winter mornings and singing at the top of my voice at gigs.

 I love the feeling of soft sand under my feet and the sun on my skin. 

I have been studying the body for over 12 years. I followed my fascination by studying anatomy and physiology at University.

It wasn't until I started suffering with anxiety and panic attacks that I took a step back from the physical body and started exploring the emotional and mental bodies and the effect that these have on the physical.

I took an 8 week Mindfulness course and my teacher told me to try yoga. I had tried it once before and hadn't enjoyed it. I wasn't 'flexible enough', I was extremely competitive and my mind was all over the place. But... I decided to try it again and I fell totally in love. The practice gave me space in both my mind and body which I hadn't experienced before.

I have since undertaken over 1000 hours of teacher trainings including the Heart of Yoga, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Pre and Post-natal, SUP, Subtle Practices, Yoga sutras and much more. 

I was introduced to TRE when I was personally in need of it over 7 years ago. Since then it has supported me in so many ways and I became a Facilitator in 2020. During 2020 I also undertook a 500hr training studying the life science of Ayurveda and adore the more subtle aspects of this system that effortlessly gel into the rest of my life. 

I am founder of a Yoga Retreat Business called 'The Quiet Mind Project' (All retreats are currently on pause as I'm on maternity leave)

With a strong emphasis on breath, my yoga classes allow the students to drop into their own self-awareness and exploration of their bodies. With this awareness of the body, through the practices of Yoga, Ayurveda and TRE, it is my hope to support you in your own journey of self-discovery and calming both the mind and nervous system.
